Welcome to Greensprings Montessori Centre (GMC), Lagos, Nigeria. Our programme is accredited by an International Montessori body based in the U.S.A –The Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher education (MACTE). We are also affiliated with Independent Not in a Consortium. Our training centre is located in Gbagada, Lagos.
GMC has been organising successful workshops, trainings programmes and short courses in the Montessori Method for some years (since 2018). As a full-fledged training centre, we are committed to excellence in the training of Montessori Early Years practitioners.

Our Greensprings Pre-school at Anthony and Lekki subscribes to and upholds the tenets of the Montessori philosophy and method; we consistently aspire to build and sustain a World Class Montessori school.
Dr. Maria Montessori (1870 – 1952), the proponent of the Method was the first female medical doctor from Italy. She devoted her life to developing a system for educating young children. She was the genius behind one of the universally accepted best methods for educating young children. Fundamental to her approach is the belief that a child’s early years- from birth to six are the period when the greatest capacity to learn is examined.
